For Students and Parents

Cal-SOAP is committed to helping students at Bishop Garcia Diego High School, Carpinteria Unified School District, and Santa Barbara School Districts understand the college going process and available resources to pay for the cost of a college education.

Who is eligible?

Students who meet the following criteria are eligible for Cal-SOAP services:

• First in their family to attend college
• OR from a family with limited income
• OR from a school or geographic region with documented low-eligibility or college participation rates
  

Students who do not meet these criteria are eligible for general services such as financial aid and college advising.

How to enroll

To enroll in Cal-SOAP:

• Contact your school site coordinator
• OR complete a Student Application (English) or Student Application (Spanish) and return it to Cal-SOAP
